Getting your pet groomed is a great way to keep them looking healthy and feeling great. Our groomers at West Toledo Animal Hospital have years of training to keep your pet's coats gleamingly and / or healthy.

What to Expect

Make sure your pet is up-to-date with their vaccinations, especially for rabies prior to bringing them into our salon. Price is based on your animal's breed and how long the grooming session will last. Our grooming sessions can take several hours, based on how long your animal's fur is and their breed.

How to Prepare for Your Visit

Make sure your pet is well prepared for grooming before bringing them in. Our pet salon is a noisy place full of animals and this can cause stress in some animals. Barking and unfamiliar animals can cause anxiousness. Make sure you are aware of what makes your animal anxious and have techniques to calm them down.

Another way to make sure your pet's visit to the salon is successful is by bringing them in for a visit prior to their appointment. They can meet our groom and get familiar with the noises, smells, and look of the salon. We love having visitors!

It is best to get your pet groomed and bathed every 4 to 6 weeks. This keeps them healthy and allows them to be checked for skin issues and other issues such as fleas and ticks.
